Preparing for Court

Don't stress, We've got you!

If you are convicted of drink driving offence, it is up to the court to decide what your sentence should be, including the length of any driving ban you might get.

Depending on the nature of your offence, and other factors, such as the amount of alcohol in your body when tested by the police, driving bans usually last at least a year but can be much longer.

The good news is that if you or your solicitor tell the court that you plan to take a course with ABC Reform, you will potentially reduce the length of your ban by a quarter.

You must do this at the hearing and tell the court which Provider you plan to do a course with. You can’t make a decision to do a course once you have left the court.
